Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and technically skilled IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) Service Engineer to install, troubleshoot, maintain, and support industrial automation and connected device solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with customers, production teams, and technical support departments to ensure smooth operation of IIoT systems, sensors, gateways, controllers, and cloud-based monitoring platforms.

Responsibilities:

 

• Install and configure IIoT devices, gateways, sensors, and industrial communication systems.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for field-installed IIoT systems.
• Diagnose hardware, firmware, and network-related issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance and service activities at customer locations.
• Monitor connected devices and ensure smooth data communication.
• Configure industrial protocols such as Modbus, MQTT, OPC-UA, RS485, and Ethernet communication.
• Coordinate with software, production, and R&D teams to resolve technical issues.
• Conduct system testing, commissioning, and validation.
• Generate service reports and maintain customer service records.
• Support customers with remote diagnostics and on-site visits.
• Train customers on product usage and system operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech/ M.E in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, or related engineering field.
• Certification in Industrial Automation, Networking, or IIoT is an added advantage.

Competencies:

• Understanding of sensors, PLCs, controllers, and automation systems.
• Good knowledge of electrical and electronics troubleshooting.

• Ability to work independently and travel for field service.

• Time management and reporting skills.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and remote monitoring systems.

Experience Requirements:

• Fresher to 4 years of experience in IIoT, industrial automation, electronics service, or field engineering.
• Experience with industrial devices, automation panels, PLCs, and communication systems preferred.
