Job Description

• The Production Engineer is responsible for the planning, scheduling, and execution of manufacturing processes. They work to improve efficiency and productivity, ensure quality control, and meet production goals. The Production Engineer also oversees the maintenance and operation of production equipment.

  Specific job duties may include:

• Developing and implementing production plans and schedules
• Coordinating the activities of different departments involved in the manufacturing process
• Monitoring production progress and making adjustments as needed
• Identifying and resolving production problems
• Ensuring that quality standards are met
• Overseeing the maintenance and operation of production equipment
• Managing the production budget
• Training and supervising production staff

Responsibilities:

• Schedule workflow between departments to efficiently increase the production of items
• Review master production schedules and work orders to determine order priorities
• Schedule manufacturing processes and reschedule identical processes to eliminate redundancies
• Create and distribute work orders to staff members in different departments
• Maintain liaison with department supervisors to determine work progress
• Provide information on changes in manufacturing methods
• Coordinate efforts with procurement managers to provide them with information on low inventories
• Create and maintain effective liaison with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
• Maintain and look after the production systems and train the subordinates accordingly
• Analyze the production system and errors if any and provide efficient solution to make it robust

Qualifications:

• BE/BTech Instrumentation & Controls, Electronics and Communication, Electrical Diploma Electronics and Communication, Electrical or BSc Electronics
• Process control industrial field knowledge
• Sales skills
• Inter-personnel communication skills
• Team-working & managing skills

Experience Requirements:

• 1-4 years of experience in a production engineering role
• Freshers with creative embedded projects are encouraged to apply
• Candidates with raw digital & analog intuition with logic without any formal embedded projects will also be considered
